Frequently Asked Questions

When you’re shopping for a used vehicle, you might have an option to buy a used car warranty. But what exactly does a used car warranty cover? To figure out what your warranty might cover, first see if a manufacturer’s warranty still exists and is transferrable, or if an extended warranty is available. And be sure to tally up the potential costs before you sign a contract.

Every automobile engine needs an oil, but not just any oil will do. Modern engines are designed and built to exacting standards and require oils that meet very specific industry and automaker specifications to ensure long service life.

Depending on vehicle age, type of oil, and driving conditions, oil change intervals will vary. It used to be normal to change the oil every 3,000 miles, but with modern lubricants, most engines today have recommended oil change intervals of 5,000 to 7,500 miles.

The ideal time is when they’re ‘cold’—first thing in the morning or a few hours after the vehicle has been parked (in the shade, possible). If your tires are warm from driving, you’ll get a less accurate reading.

The best practice is to check your inflation levels once a month. To help make this a habit, some drivers check their tire pressure every time they fill up gas. If your tire is hot, never lower the pressure to recommended PSI; as the tire cools, the pressure level will decrease.

This common maintenance task—which should typically be done every 5,000 to 8,000 miles—isn’t one you should ignore. It may seem minor, but remember well-maintained tires will help you travel safely for thousands of miles.

Car detailing involves cleaning and reconditioning the interior and exterior of the car. The aim of this is to restore the paintwork by eliminating scratches or swirl marks to make the car look almost brand new like it did when you first drove it out of the shop.

A simple car wash gets rid of dirt on the outside of your car, and if you clean the interior, you might catch some of the grime with a vacuum, but car detailing takes this process much further. Every car we detail has every imperfection buffed, polished, or vacuumed out, leaving it fit for display in any showroom.

Regardless of the specific cause, it is urgent to stop an oil leak, so take your vehicle to the Mechanic shop immediately. Following the oil leak, you may encounter the smell of burnt oil, followed by blue smoke and ultimately some major damage to your engine. Do not delay in addressing this issue.

Brake pulsation usually only has one cause, which is warped rotors/brake discs. The main cause of
warped rotors are excessive hard braking or fast stops which can severely overheat the discs.

Once the discs overheat, it can change the composition of the metal disc material and create
irregularities in the surface of the metal. Some of these irregularities can be visible and are known as
hotspots. They will show up as discolored sections of the disc material, usually bluish or blackish in color.
